Out today on Mental Records is the new remix disc from the industrial band Oral Silence titled Detail. Kicking off the disc is an exclusive remix of the track "Bacterium" that I created a couple of months ago. This one caught me in a bit of a nostalgic mood, so the mix has some heavy old school EBM influences. Also included on the disc are remixes by Adapter, Synthetik Form, Ehron Von Allen, and others. In an effort to focus my time on finishing up the next Testube full length release Off Purpose, I am placing a temporary moratorium on any remix work. It's only temporary, and I expect to be slicing my way through the unsuspecting sounds of other musicians again once the new album is complete. I'm pushing for a late winter release.  keep reading »

Check it out! Left Spine Down has just announced the release of a new double remix disc titled Smartbomb 2.3: The Underground Mixes, featuring an exclusive remix by Testube. The double album will initially be released on September 15th, 2009 via iTunes, Amazon MP3 and Rhapsody, but will also be available at shows that they play with the Revolting Cocks as part of their national "LubricaTour".
