TESTUBE

The Audio Experiments of Jeff Danos

Studio

I have utilized a plethora of gear and software over the years to create, shape and refine my sounds. In the beginning, for projects like Wrack Process, the setup involved a few keyboards, a two-track hardware sequencer, heavily tweaked home stereo equipment, and an arsenal of inexpensive Radio Shack odds and ends. For the early Testube releases, I primarily used an Alesis Quadrasynth and MMT-8 Sequencer. The Bioplaza release was the first album transported into the digital domain, and computer software has since played an integral part in crafting the Testube sound.

Currently, I am producing all new music in a partially off-grid cabin nestled deep in the Ozarks!

In the past, Testube recordings were produced at the following locations:

Hollow View Studio - Eureka Springs, AR.
