The incredible post-industrial sludge-rock act I, Parasite has just released the second installment of their Assorted Debris collection of rarities. I've been following Christopher Jon's musical output for many years now, and it's always a treat to hear some of the unreleased material that didn't make it onto their official releases, for one reason or another. Included in this digital release are rare demos, live cuts, and other unreleased tracks from 2002-2007, including remixes from Testube and my talented friend R010R.
Electronica wizard Justin Lassen recently released a 24-track collection of some of his best remixes from 1999-2011. Hot on the heels of donating a new track to the Music for the Rising Sun benefit compilation for the people of Japan, it appears that Testube is getting a little something in return, in the form of a nice write-up from Japanese music enthusiast "bloodline242".
