I contacted Tommy T. yesterday to inform him that I have withdrawn Testube from the DSBP roster. Unfortunately, it was part of a reply to one of his "sheeple" rants, and I said a few things that I probably shouldn't have. It's a shame that I had to leave the label on a sour note, but I have this nasty little tendency to let things bottle up over time and then unleash the poison tongue. For that, I am sorry.
My primary reason for leaving is that the goals and perspectives of DSBP and Testube have become misaligned over the years, and I need to explore other avenues of promotion. I wish the DSBP crew the best of luck, and hold no grudges.
In other news, I am forecasting a new Testube single or EP to be ready by the end of the year. I am not sure how it will be released, and welcome your suggestions. I have heard of several bands having success taking pre-orders, so that is always a possibility. We could also do the download thing. Or both. At this point it is really up to you - the listener. Let me know how you want it, and I'll do my best to make it presentable and worth your money. Testube has been quiet for too long.
