ClandestCINE has just announced the date for the world premiere of their new short film titled Refraction. The film will debut as part of the Speechless Cinema Showcase on October 17th at the Mayan Theatre in Denver, and features an exclusive musical score written and produced by Testube. I just added a new voicemail feature to the site, courtesy of the folks over at K7. I had heard about this service from a podcast by Jay Moonah and decided to check it out. It is a free account and basically works like a fax/message to email service. The phone number is 206-202-3848. I finished my Testube remix for LowHero.DLL's dark pop smasher "Forget Me Now" last night and you can now download it for free at the official LowHero.DLL website. I was a bit intimidated at first by how catchy the original version was, but I opted for a mellow and quirky approach and I think it worked quite well. Check it out and let me know what you think! I just received word that my Testube remix of I, Parasite's new song titled "Four Last Things" made it into the top four of their remix contest. Chris will be selecting one final remix to be included on their upcoming album The Sick Are Not Healing. The remix contest was quite unique, as Chris posted audio files that had been processed and chopped up, as opposed to traditional instrument tracks from a multi-track program. None of the remixers had heard the original track, either! As a result the remixes submitted were quite diverse. keep reading » |
