Need Remixers for new Testube single

As previously announced, the new Testube single has a release date of June 30th. The single will feature three or four new Testube tracks and some bonus remixes. If anyone is interested in remixing a track for the single, please get in touch asap. You'll have approximately five to six weeks to complete the remix.

The new single will be released for free in MP3 format on Glim Records, with a follow-up limited edition short run disc or CDR for a few bucks.

I've been procrastinating (or was that distracted?) long enough. Tonight I completed the first track for the upcoming Testube single. I have been struggling with the vocals for some time, and for this track decided to try a totally different direction. I even considered a new project name, but the music still has that signature Testube sound, even if this first track has something of a shoegazer / early 4AD influence.  keep reading »

Testube and LowHero.DLL launch Glim Records

I have decided to join forces with Jonathan Chalker (from LowHero.DLL) to launch a new record label - Glim Records. Initially, we will use it as a channel for releasing our own music, but we may branch out and include releases from like-minded musicians at some point in the future. more studio problems - returned the glyph

Well, I decided to return the Glyph hard drive. It was working, but not very fast. In fact, it was stuttering all over the place. I tried it with several different firewire cards and none of them solved the performance problems. Then the folks over at Sweetwater tech support were nice enough to send me a replacement drive. It didn't perform any better, so I can only assume that my PC is the bottleneck. What a pain.  keep reading »
